What I Offer

About me

pilates | reformer | ballet

I’ve lived my dream as a professional ballet dancer, which taught me how powerful movement can be. When I transitioned into teaching Pilates, I found a new passion in helping others feel good in their bodies and boost their overall well-being. Now, I’m on a mission to reach out to people of all ages and abilities, especially those who deal with mental health challenges.

My goal is simple: to show you that movement can be fun, empowering, and an essential part of living a balanced, joyful life.

Once Upon a Time, There Was a Ballerina…

Hi, I’m Tally! My mission is to empower minds through movement. For me, movement has always been deeply connected to mental health. From a young age, I learned how important it is not just to move, but to move in ways that help us feel strong both inside and out.

At 13, I left my childhood home to train at The Royal Ballet School, and later, on a full scholarship at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. It was during this time that Pilates became a lifeline for me. I was hypermobile, lacked strength, and experienced injuries. Pilates wasn’t just part of my physical rehabilitation—it also helped me mentally, grounding me through the pressures of intense ballet training.

My love for movement took me all over the world, training at prestigious programs like San Francisco Ballet and The Royal Danish Ballet. Eventually, I graduated with honours and fulfilled my dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer, joining The National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in the Czech Republic.

But when the pandemic hit, like so many others, my world shifted. I decided to leave the demands of ballet to prioritise my mental health and embrace a new chapter. Stepping away from the stage, I realised I didn’t miss the constant pressure to be perfect or the strain to change my body.

What I truly wanted was balance—both physical and mental. This led me to deepen my studies in Pilates, completing my Pilates mat certification with BASI Pilates, as well as specialised training in injuries & pathologies, and pre & post-natal care. Additionally, I earned my Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), furthering my passion for teaching.

Now, I’m dedicated to helping others build physical and mental strength through Pilates. Whether I’m teaching group reformer classes at Heartcore in London or working one-on-one with clients, my goal is always the same: to help you feel empowered in your body and mind. I can’t wait to move with you!

…Then the Pandemic Happened!

Why Should You Work With Me?

I bring the dedication and attention to detail from my professional ballet training, but my focus is on helping you feel strong, balanced, and empowered through Pilates. My approach is all about helping you achieve results you didn’t think were possible, in a way that leaves you feeling energised and proud of your progress.

I’ve been through my own journey of overcoming physical challenges and mental health struggles, so I understand firsthand how movement can transform both mind and body. I’m here to guide you in becoming more confident, healthier, and happier, using Pilates and mindfulness to help you feel your best.

With my professional qualifications in Pilates and experience in teaching, I create a welcoming and encouraging environment tailored to your individual needs. Together, we’ll develop sessions that focus on your unique goals, making your journey enjoyable and fulfilling.
